Guide To Buying The Best Stuffed Plush Bear For A Child
Every child loves a stuffed plush bear; they provide love and comfort and something soft and snuggly to cuddle into at night. But with so many different toy bears available it is often hard to decide which one to buy for your little one. Whilst buying a stuffed plush bear you need to consider various things such as what color your child will like and whether the bear is safe.
Deciding what color bear to buy can often be a problem, a lot of it depends on your child and their tastes. A lot of children have an obvious attraction to a certain color so this can make it easier for some parents. If you are buying a bear for a young child it is best to stick to a typical brown bear or something without a lot of color like a polar bear or a panda. Many of you may be tempted to buy your child a bright orange stuffed plush bear or a multi-colored animal because they are so endearing. However, whilst children are fascinated by bright colors the purpose of a bear is to make them feel safe, secure and loved, soft and natural colors such as brown do this. If your child is slightly older than introducing bright colors will not be such a problem, however by this stage your child probably has a favorite color so this will make it easier.
The most important thing to consider while buying a stuffed plush bear is of course safety. A toy bear is meant to be something fun and enjoyable, not a hazard. If you are buying a stuffed animal for a young child make sure that there is nothing coming out of the bear or falling off. It is recommended buying bears with their features embroidered on because buttons and beads can easily become loose and fall off, and children tend to put things in their mouths which can be extremely dangerous. If you have to buy a bear with parts stitched on make sure they are very secure so the child cannot pull them off.
Finally, when buying a stuffed animal it is recommend buying a bear with large features and pick an animal with its features on the front of the toy. The reason for this is that young children need to be excited by a toy on first glance for them to become animated and want to play with it.
Safety and appearance are essential when picking the perfect stuffed plush bear for any child. As your child becomes older they will become more vocal about what they want thus picking a teddy bear will get easier, however if you stick to these guidelines you should be able to pick the perfect stuffed toy for your child no matter what age.
