Nokia 97 Mobile Phone Mini Review - A Lean And Efficient, Touch Screen
If you loved or hated the Nokia 1997, Nokia 1997 Mini is certainly a lot to offer. It 'much more than just a small, more beautiful version of its predecessor. Its 5 megapixel camera, a fairly responsive touchscreen, and a broadband connection, offers the user an experience that seems lucid and thoughtful. Combine this with the greatly reduced price, and you have a phone that is definitely worth having.
Appearance:
One of the biggest drawbacks of the N97 was its great design, awkward. Fortunately, the N97 Mini is considerably smaller, lighter and more attractive to a mere 138g. The screen is slightly smaller than 3.2 inches, but with 16.7 million colors, is still very much alive, if not a little weak. The screen responds well to touch, although some users have complained that they have to put pressure on their nails against the screen instead of fingers to get a response. This is not a problem for most, but if you want to enjoy the variety of games to touch screen, for example, there may be some embarrassment.
Its exterior is quite robust, and fans of the N97 to see improvements on the QWERTY keyboard as well. It glides smoothly and close tightly. Each button is raised individually, which is great for quick easy typing. The only drawback is that the space bar is on the right side of the keyboard instead of just at the bottom, which was problematic.
Another major complaint on the phone earlier was operating. Full of faults and random reboots, Symbian OS was his subject to all sorts of unpredictable antics. Mini N97, however, seems to work much smoother.
Sound:
In regard to the sound, the Mini N97 works quite well, with crisp sound quality and dedicated volume control and an FM radio with RDS in the hand and 3.5mm headphone jack. You can play a variety of music formats like MP3, MWA, AAC, eAAC, eAAC + y. Their playlist capabilities also help keep everything organized. That said, the sound system is pretty basic, nothing new or shiny. However, his impeccable good also allows related operational tasks, such as conference calls.
Camera:
Mini camera N97 is certainly one of its strengths. It will not replace your digital camera, and certainly there are phones with better quality, but when you consider its size and price, it is certainly impressive. At 5 megapixels, dual LED flash with a 14x digital zoom, dedicated camera key, photo and video geo-tagging, and Carl Zeiss optics, it is really a camera that packs a punch. It also contains a separate camera to make movies as well, with options for video playback and lighting and a host of options to play with.
Internet connectivity:
The Mini N97 is very fast and consistent when it comes to keeping in touch. Besides the TV out 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth, EDGE and WLAN Wi-Fi with UPnP support, there's a USB microphone optional. Assess their capabilities Texers SMS, MMS and instant messaging. Its push e-mail and web widgets are also a nice touch, although some users have complained that it is somewhat confusing. Finally, quad-band and WCDMA technology ensures you stay connected no matter where you are.
Memory & Talk Time:
Along with the touchscreen Nokia contraction significantly reduced the memory. However, 8 gigabytes is enough for most to enjoy music, pictures and e-mail messages, and there is also available in 16-gigabyte microSD cards, if you need more. That talk time, seven hours of talk time and 320 hours standby GSM GSM, can be a good idea to charge often. However, given the size of phone and amount of goodies inside, it is not surprising that this would be necessary.
Conclusion: N97 Mini is a big improvement on the N97. His brilliant OS, a great camera, fast internet and thin, attractive new look it is worth considering.
