Reflections on the last Harry Potter book?
Finished the last Harry Potter book yesterday, I wonder, what are your final thoughts on the last book and the whole series?
No spoilers. That would give him four out of five stars. I think JKR did a great job to finish a book series 7 in a book reading. Many people cry unfinished story lines, but if it had been closed absolutely everything I wrote in the first six books, the latest novel would have been greater than the rest combined and completely unreadable. The important thing is that it closed lines of history's most important to all the main characters. And look at this way, has left things open enough not to hang, but there the possibility of future books in the series. Like many people I see complaining about how there is no love "real" in the book. I think they should again, your definition of true love. No, not "true love, as you see in the movies Disney Princess. DH What was the true love that can grow without any type of relationship, friends, colleagues, students and teachers. And that's the kind of love true of this world really need more, not the Disney Fairy tale love story. I gave it four stars, but since I was a little disappointed with a couple of points. I think the flowers of love between Ron and Hermione would have been better written. Perhaps JKR did not feel comfortable with writing romantic, and so it takes a back seat. I would not try to write a love story characters developed to credible. I also believe that the very small amount of swearing has been in the book could have been left out, and was used as a tactic shocks (specifically, Mrs. Weasley line towards the end). But as JK Rowling does not go overboard with this tactic (remember no use in two or three times), I do not think it pushed the total value of the book too. In general, a pleasure to read and a good top layer a series of very long and complicated. Of course, not everyone is happy, but as long as most are, is what counts for an author. Grammar and syntax are not everything, it is the sharing of creativity and new ideas that makes a book a good read fiction.
