How to Clean a Leather Wallet Without Damaging It?
Hi there;
I have had a leather wallet (brown) for 4 years. Since it was always in my back pocket it absorbed my perspiration so now it smells stink. How can i wash it? I'm afraid to destroy it with putting it into wash machine or wash it with chemical powders coz it's original leather and very expensive.

or in darker colors. They can be stinking, because of the dirtiest thing - money out and in every day. And we open and close the wallet several times everyday. So it is very important to care and maintain our wallets to keep their nice appearance and extend their life. Then how? Actually, it's very easy and no money cost. You can do it by yourself only following the instructions below.
The appropriate cleaning process:
1. Empty all contents of your leather wallet to avoid damage during the cleaning process.
2. Wipe the wallet with anti-bacterial disinfectant wipes.
3. Pour some leather cleaner on a soft cloth and rub your leather wallet with it. Scrub the folds and cracks of the wallet to their best.
4. Apply a leather conditioner using the same cloth on the wallet liberally in order to soak the leather. This will help rejuvenate and condition the old worn leather.
5. Once the leather has completely dried out, replace all credit cards, cash, photos and papers in the wallet.
